The client requested a small 2,000 square foot modern retreat that would celebrate its surrounding elements while still taking advantage of the spectacular views. The house is terraced with the site and stretches the full width of the bluff with floor to ceiling glass.
An exterior “ground face” CMU block wall extends through the house and becomes a visual barrier between public and private spaces. The expansive views are experienced from every space in the house.
