This site sets a top a high bluff with commanding views of the lake, Seattle skyline, and Mount Rainier. The main house is on one level with separate attached guest quarters for frequent visitors. The house “footprint” was designed to avoid all of the large fir trees so the wooded site would remain. The exterior is horizontal with the use of wood siding, aluminum windows, and ground face CMU block used for the base material.
